Brookfield Residential was facing a significant challenge: they wanted to launch their first Sustainability report, but also wanted to create a custom digital experience that would set them apart.
The company was not yet ready to fully embrace a web platform, and internally, the topic of digital reports was still a sensitive one for senior leadership who were more accustomed to printed documents.
We stepped in to solve this problem by utilizing our expertise in web design to create a cutting-edge, interactive PDF. This solution allowed Brookfield Residential to take a step forward in their digital presence without overwhelming the leadership team. The end result was an exceptional, high-end digital report that was both engaging and easy to navigate, effectively communicating the company's key successes and highlighting their commitment to sustainability.
Art Direction
As the creative lead on this project, I played a crucial role in shaping the overall design and user experience of the interactive PDF. My responsibilities included leading the design team, overseeing the conceptualization and development of the visual design, and ensuring that the final product was visually compelling and in line with the client's brand guidelines.
I worked closely with the client to understand their goals and objectives for the report, and used this information to guide the design process. I also played an important role in quality assurance, making sure that the final product met the high standards of the client, and was compatible with various devices.
Overall, my role was to ensure that the interactive PDF was visually engaging, easy to use, and aligned with the client's brand and goals. I was able to lead the team to deliver an exceptional final product that exceeded the client's expectations and helped them to achieve their business objectives. A few of my responsibilities included:
Leading a design brainstorming workshop with the client to establish the look and feel they were hoping to achieve and communicating our findings to the design team
Researching and providing direction for how interactive PDFs work
Overseeing the design team and identifying areas for interactivity, and improving the user experience of the document
