When the COVID-19 pandemic challenged the way we engage with our communities, ATCO, one of Spruce Meadows' major partners, refused to let it defeat them.
With a mission to keep their loyal customers connected to the world-renowned show jumping events, ATCO united with Spruce Meadows, Park Digital, and Exhibit Studio to create an unprecedented, safe and inspiring experience for a select group of families.
As the Creative Lead of the project, I was responsible for bringing this extraordinary campaign to life. I led the production team to capture the essence of Spruce Meadows, and curated the visual narrative that would communicate the emotional impact of the experience for the participating families. I oversaw the campaign's development, from concept to execution, to ensure it would resonate with the audience and leave a lasting impression.
The Video
The results exceeded expectations. The campaign received positive feedback from the community and helped ATCO to maintain a strong connection with their customers, despite the obstacles caused by the pandemic. It was a testament to how creativity and adaptability can help a brand overcome challenges and continue to connect with its audience in meaningful ways. A few of my responsibilities on this project included:
On-set video direction
Storyboarding and post-production oversight
Management of the creative team, including media buying and post-campaign reporting
The ATCO's Spruce Meadows Mobile Experience campaign was not only a resounding success in terms of engagement and community impact, but it was also recognized for its exceptional execution by the Canadian Marketing Awards. The campaign earned a coveted bronze in the Business: Customer Experience category, solidifying its place among the elite in the industry. This achievement serves as a testament to the exceptional creativity, strategic thinking, storytelling, and dedication of our team in delivering truly impactful and award-winning campaigns for our client.
